Isn´t it getting boring to sit behind your gaming console, playing racing games with just a small gamepad in your hands?
And then, if you buy your racingwheel, isn´t it annoying then, to attach it to a simple table, which in most cases is to high or low...playing, while the steering wheel is moving forth and back, left and right?
You´ll never get the right feeling for real racing, you think. You´ll never feel like in a real cockpit and you´ll never feel like on a real racetrack.
Then you buy a gameseat...or something, that lookes like one.
OK, now the feeling is a little bit better, but you spent a lot of money and after a few days, weeks, months you think, it could be much better, somehow significant...and...less expensive.
Your new seat is to heavy, the rig scratches your floor tiles, you still cannot really attach the wheel properly, it´s unstable, feels cheap and uncomfortable, you get a lot of backache after 16 hours of drivin´in a rig which will be worn out after a while or you paid a month´s salary.
Your girlfriend is getting angry, because she´s bored of your indignation and of course, she want´s to play too...but with a gamepad, an instable racing wheel on an a ordinary table?
NOOOO...girls know exactly what it means to real racedrive.
Well...1000s of reasons for me as Designer and Mechanic to design and setup my own one.
