RaceRock - The Editions
There can not be only one!
Soon there will come up the "Black Edition", the "MK1_v2" and the "MK1 Evolution"!
"Black Edition"
The black edition is a slightly modified MK1_v1, but with a black aluminuim-rig,which is a bit more costly but on the other hand it's more precious.
"MK1_v2"
In version 2 the RaceRock obtains a lateral wheel-arm, that means that the arm is no longer fixed in the middle of the mainprofile, so that you can easily take a seat.
Futhermore the wheel will be height-adjustable.
The seating obtains connecting links to the seat-console, that are a little more stable and there will be a gear shift holder optionally (e.g. for the Logitech G25 or Fanatec Porsche).
"MK1 Evolution"
For the hardcore gamers and generous nerds, there will be the Evolution, that of course contains all the improvements of MK1_v1 and _v2 and additional includes a keyboard- and cupholder, as well as a holder for up to three monitors.
Some arms, like the keyboard holder, shall be swivelling, to ensure maximum flexibility, wheel and pedals can also be rotated. Additionally all the important profiles will be adjustable with quick release fasteners and the RaceRock shall be able to host the gaming consoles and PCs.
As good as a complete stand-alone activity area.
These days I work on a quick release fasteners system, which enables to disassemble and assemble the Evolution in a few minutes (Evolution v2).
Therefore for sure some time will pass by for the prototyping, cause in no case the stability shall suffer from it.
